The Gooseman Game Calls custom short reed goose call is a culmination of years of experimentation and trial and error. We have found that our custom goose call's unique 3/4 inch exhaust bore provides the very best sound and control , the custom hand shaved reed, and the tricked out delrin sound board take half the air to operate as most short reed goose calls. Our custom goose call also uses an aluminum gut holder for function and strength. Your Gooseman custom goose call is built to last a lifetime. You will be amazed at the range of goose sounds you can produce with this call.
As with any short reed goose call this call is an instrument that you will need to learn to play. Gooseman short reed goose calls take very little back pressure to operate. Once this call is mastered however, it will become second nature to you and you will put many more birds hovering in the hole of your decoy spread.
This particular call is a one of a kind call made from cocobolo wood. This wood is very dense, very hard and strong, not to mention absolutely gorgeous. It is highly recommended that this call not be taken apart and that any future tuning be done by our staff. Please note that this call comes to you hand tuned, broken in, and ready for the field.
